I had a pleasant experience during my one-night stay in a Standard King Room. The location was convenient and the staff greeted us warmly, making us feel welcome. However, there could definitely be some improvements in the cleanliness of the room, as the shower floor wasn’t up to par and needed more attention.

I had a stay at the Holiday Inn in Salem and my experience had its ups and downs. The staff impressed me right from the start. They were friendly and went out of their way to help. I particularly appreciated the cleanliness. the maids definitely kept things in good shape. However, the pool being out of service was a letdown, especially for a family trip. The hotel's neighborhood raised some concerns about safety, but I still felt secure while inside. The room was decent, but it was cramped and not as updated as I had hoped, especially compared to other hotels I've stayed at recently. The breakfast situation was also a bit disappointing, as I expected a more varied selection without extra charges for additional guests. Overall, some areas clearly need attention, such as updating the facilities and improving the breakfast offerings, but the staff's effort shone through my stay.

Unfortunately, the hotel seems to still be a work in progress. During my visit, they were doing painting on the elevator and walls, which was distracting. The pool wasn't accessible due to repairs, and the restaurant was closed, so options for meals were limited. Additionally, the $100 safety deposit wasn't communicated at check-in, which was a surprise later. Room amenities were lacking, with minimal toiletries provided and a faulty TV.

I loved the cozy feel of my room and those little Dove shampoos were a nice touch! The indoor pool was refreshing, and I enjoyed lounging in the sun afterward. Just a heads up, there was an unexpected fee for incidentals, but it didn’t change how much I enjoyed my stay! 😊

my stay was pleasant with a comfortable room and friendly staff. It's just a short walk to beautiful parks like Bush's Pasture Park and the captivating Oregon State Capitol, making it easy to enjoy leisurely strolls around the city. although the pool was unexpectedly closed during my visit, my overall experience was still enjoyable.

This place suits me perfectly with free wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a comfortable indoor pool. The staff even helped me find my way during my first stay. I highly recommend it and will return for Easter.

The room was huge, with lots of plugs and USB ports which were super convenient! The warm pool was a nice touch for relaxation.
